EPL: Baros, you IDIOT!

You'd think I'd be really happy that Liverpool won.

Well, I am, but not THAT happy. Hamann, Warnock, Luis Garcia and Morientes got injured (thankfully, all minor ones), and Baros will be suspended for 3 games because of that straight red card he got for a horrendous tackle he made.

Baros Baros, you idiot. We're already short enough on strikers, and you had to get yourself suspended? Sheesh. And you call yourself a top stiker when you miss tamely in TWO one-on-ones with the keeper? You better bloody score some goals against Juventus, or you'll have a lot to answer for.

Gerrard was superb on Sunday, but my man-of-the-match has got to be Carragher. He was fabulous, as he has been throughout the season. I never doubted Carra even when Houllier decided to play him in left back (which he adapted to damn well), and I'm glad to see he's finally showing what he can truly do. He's been consistent and solid in the center of defence all season.

And what about that Morientes shot that nearly beat Martyn? If that had gone in, it would have been one of the goals of the season. Well, at least Luis Garcia (who was suprisingly good on the day) was quick enough to head in the rebound.

But we shouldn't have struggled so much in the end of the match. Baros, you idiot. Think of the TEAM, kid, the TEAM!
