Football: How quickly they forget...

I'm getting pretty sick of Man Utd fans moaning and groaning about how 'arrogant' and 'boastful' Arsenal and Chelsea fans are becoming. How short their memories are.

dudes, how do you think all the rest of us football fans felt about you Man U fans when your club was so dominant in the 90s'? Everywhere we went, they were singing 'We Are The Champions' like that was their theme song, even when they lost the league.

It came to a point where a Man Utd jersey was probably one of the most hated sights among the ABU (Anything But United) fans. Heck, I even chased someone out of my car once for trying to enter my car while wearing his Man Utd jersey (dude, doesn't the sign saying 'This is Anfield' on my car window mean anything to you?).

I started supporting Liverpool when they were past their prime, (during 1996 FA Cup final, to be exact), so I wouldn't know anything about how Liverpool fans were like when WE were dominating the football scene. What I DO know is that now, Liverpool fans are pretty much used to people calling the club a 'has-been', and saying we are 'reliving past glories'.

Now that all the talk this season has been all about Arsenal and Chelsea, Man Utd fans are resorting to complaining and moaning about how other fans are stepping all over them. Well, get use to it, I say. It could be a lot worse. You could be a Liverpool supporter.
